NOTICE Of PETITION FOR TEMPORARY CHANGE INVOLVING THE TRANSFER OF UP TO 4,000
ACRE-FEET OF WATER IFROM DAVID AND ALICE TE VELDE REVOCABLE FAMILY TRUST
TO THE SAN LUIS AND DELTA-MENDOTA WATER AUTHORITY UNDER
LICENSES 9994, 9995, 9996, AND 9997 (APPLICATIONS 3423, 4901, 4902, AND 5359)
On May 8, 2013, David and Alice Te Velde Revocable Family Trust (Family Trust) filed four petitions for
change with the State Water Resources Control Board involving the proposed temporary transfer of up to
4,000 acre-feet (af), of a combined 7,575 of of water available under the petitioner's licenses, to the San
Luis and Delta-Mendota Water Authority (Authority} pursuant to Water Code sections 1701 and 1725.
The transfer water would be made available by ground waker substitution for surface waker under the
Family Trust's licenses to provide an additional supply of water to the Authority far irrigation.
The proposed transfer would include the following changes: 1}add the Central Valley Project's (CVP} CW
"Bill" Jones Pumping Plant and the State Water Project's Harvey O. Banks Pumping Plant as points of
diversion; and 2} add the service area of the CVP as an additional place of use under the Family Trust's
licenses. Temporary changes under Water Code section 1725 may be effective for a period of up to one

On May 6, 2013, Pleasant Grove-Verona Mutua! Water Company (PGV) filed seven petitions far temporary change to
transfer up to 8,100 acre-feet of water pursuant to Water Code section 1725 et seq. The water will be transferred under
PGV shareholders' water right Licenses 6389A of E.D. Willey and Son Inc., 63890 of River Ranch Partnership, 11001 of
Scheidel & Osterli, 7064A of Nicoli G. Nicholas, 70646 of Maria John Nicholas Kelly Ranch, LLC, 70640 of Thomas S.
Atkinson, II, and 6399 of Murphy Lake Farms.
The water will be transferred to the San Luis &Delta-Mendota Water Authority via groundwater substitution. The
proposed change will include the addition of (1}the Central Valley Projects (CVP) CW "Bill" Jones Pumping Plant and
the State Water Project's {SWP) Harvey O. Banks Pumping Plant as points of diversion; and (2} add the service area of
the CVP to the place of use. Temporary changes under Water Cade section 1725 may be effective for a period of up to
