Highway Closure Alert for SR 32
Caltrans to Close SR 32 between Chico and Chester for Three Days in June
CHICO,CA—Caltrans and Knife River
Construction will be conducting a controlled
blasting operation on State Route 32,as part
of the larger Colby Curves Road
Improvement Proiect,which is realigning
and widening a.7 mile stretch of SR 32.The
exact location for the controlled blasting is
_A post mile 8.6 in Tehama County but
operations will affect a larger portion of SR
32 between Chico and Chester.
Due to the blasting operations proximity

CLOSED on June 19 ,20 and 21

between Chico and Chester.
Detours will be clearly signed via Highways 99 and 36.Caltrans anticipates these detours will add approximately 40
minutes of traveling time and asks drivers to please follow the detour signs and drive carefully.
