Board members, staff or Counsel may ask clarifying questions. Opportunity will be provided..#or-oral presentations by
'interested parties. To erisure aproductive and efFcient workshop, oral presentations from any~interested persons may be
limited to 3-minutes at the discretion of the Board Chair.

CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALIFY CONTROL BOARD
CENTRAL VALLEY REGION
The primary duty of the Board is to protec# the quality of the waters within the Region for all beneficial uses. This
duty is implemented by formulating and adopting water quality plans for specific ground or surface water•basins
and by prescribing and enforcing requirements on all agricultural, domestic and industrial waste discharges.'
Specific responsibilities and procedures of the Boards and the 5ta#e Water Resources Control Board are .
contained in the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act.
