A subsequent meeting will be properly noticed and scheduled at a later date to consider public comments concerning proposed Waste Discharge Requirements for the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program. The primary purpose of this meeting is to receive public comments pertaining to the 2413 joint triennial review of the water quality control plans for the Sacramento River, San Joaquin River Basin and the Tulare Lake basin. At this meeting, there will be no sworn testimony or cross-examination of participants, but the Central Valley Water Baard members, staff, or; legal counsel may ask clarifying questions. Opportunity will be provided for oral presentations by interested parties. To ensure a productive and effcient workshop, oral presentations from any interested persons may be limited to 3-minutes at the discre#ion of the Board Chair. A-2213) Agenda 3 October 24, 2012 CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD CENTRAL VALLEY REG10N The primary duty of the Board is to protect the quality of the waters within the Region for all beneficial uses. This duty is implemented by formulating and adopting water quality plans for specific ground or surface water basins and by prescribing and enforcing requirements on all agricultural, domestic and industrial waste discharges. Specific responsibilities and procedures of the Boards and the State Water Resources Control Board are contained in the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act. BOARD MEMBERS Karl E.
