NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Chico Zoning Administrator will conduct a public
hearing Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the Engineering Conference Room, located
at 411 Main Street, Second Floor, Chico, regarding the following projects:
Use Permit 15-07 (Champion Christian High School 480 Rio Lind
Avenue, APN 004-340-013-000 This is a request to authorize a High
School with student enrollment up to 75 students at 480 Rio Undo Avenue. The
project involves the conversion of an existing structure that was once utilized
for a gym and racquet club. The site is located in the OC (Office Commercial)
zoning district with an AOD (Airport Overflight D) overlay zone and is
designated Office Mixed Use by the General Plan. This project is categorically
exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to
CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities). Questions regarding this

Any appeal of a Zoning Administrator determination must be submitted to the City Council in
writing within 10 days of the determination, to the attention of the City Clerk, 411 Main Street,
Third Floor, Chico, CA 95928 or P.O. Box 3420, Chico, CA 95927. Any person who challenges
the action may be limited to raising only those issues that were raised, verbally or in writing, at
the public hearing on the subject application or proposal.
Any person may appear and be heard at the public hearing, and interested parties are
encouraged to submit written materials on the above item. Written materials should be
submitted to the City of Chico Community Development Department, 411 Main Street, Second
Floor, or mailed to P.O. Box 3420, Chico, CA 95927, and received prior to commencement of
the public hearing. Further information, including maps and files, may be reviewed at the City
