Dear Supervisors;
I would like to invite you to join us for the 2o10 Christmas for the Troops—Northstate
Packaging Project. This year's event will be held at the Shasta District Fairgrounds:
Fusaro Hall
Saturday,November 2o,2o10
4:30 p.m.Social Hour—5:15 Program
Anderson,CA
Our goal is to send a Christmas package to every deployed Soldier,Sailor,Airman,Coast
Guard and Marine from Butte County to the Oregon border. Admission is$12.00 for adults
and$6.00 for children 13 and under. Tickets are available in Redding at Massique Kafe on
Athens Ave.and Audio Addictions on Hilltop drive;and online at

The festive evening will begin with a spaghetti dinner fundraiser provided by the A-Team.
Christmas music will be performed by Straight Ahead,jazz Combo and Linda Bott will stop
by to share a song. There will be a color guard by Semper Fi II,and service members
FM TME PEOPIL BY THE PEOM recently returned from Iraq and Afghanistan will share their experiences receiving our care
packages last Christmas. You and your family can also write a personal Christmas card or
note to a Northstate Warrior and drop it in your gift box.
North valley Banc: .After the program you are invited to join us on the assembly line for the most fun of the
evening,packing Christmas presents for our Troops. We are giving our Northstate
dignitaries the opportunity to assists on the packing line.
This effort is being organized by a committee of local veterans groups and veteran
supporters: Shasta County Veterans Affiliated Council; NorCal Chapter 111—Womens Army
Corps Veterans Association; Free Fire Radio;Northern California Veterans Museum;
• • • Vietnam Veterans of America,Chapter 357;North Valley Bank and Clark Construction.
The committee is currently busy gathering items for the boxes as well as sponsors for the
shipping and the packaging event. If you or anyone you know would like to became involved
in that aspect of the project,please email me or call at the number below.
I hope you will be able to take time from your busy schedule to join us for this fun evening.
