Dear Supervisors and Planning Department:
I ride my bike in butte Creek Canyon. I am sending this letter in hope that the
Butte County Board of Supervisors will support the Planning Commission's
recommendation for the sub-zoning designation of AG 40 for the properties located at
the base of the bluffs West of Centerville Road. This includes parcels to the south of
Rim View Road and north almost as far as Center Gap Road in Butte Creek Canyon.
Were it not for a few champions of Butte County we would not have the
magnificent Bidwell Park. Butte Creek Canyon has so many treasures, flora, fauna, and
natural beauty, and only the residents to work to preserve it.
Please keep this treasure with its unusual ecosystem and beauty in mind when
future planning arises.
