To sign up, residents should do the following:
1. Visit Sacramento-Aleit.org, provide personal information, select a username,
password, and security question.
2. Select how you'd like to be contacted, such as cell phone, text, and/or landline.
3. Register one or multiple addresses such as home or work address. The system
serves Sacramento County, Placer County, and Yolo County.
During an actual disaster, residents can expect to receive Sacramento Alerts in

The most recent WEA test was conducted in October 2018 by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA).
