Re: Letter of Support for Butte County CCA
Dear Tim,
As a landowner and developer of a utility scale solar energy project in District 5 of Butte County, I would like
to express my continued support for the county's efforts to continue to push the renewable energy agenda to
bring more renewables, particularly solar power, to Butte County residents and businesses.
I am also very interested in the possibility of providing solar power to the County and will continue to stay
engaged in further discussions as the one we had last week with Supervisor Teeter, Brian Ring and others
involved in the decision-making on this topic.
I will be in attendance at the meeting on August 8 and would be willing to provide the Board with information
regarding the project and any other information on solar related topics that I can.

Thanks to the County and the Board of Supervisors for continuing to push the renewable energy agenda and
making renewable energy resources readily available for residents and businesses of Butte County.
Regards,
Clark Danielson

To Whom It May Concern

As someone who has had the privilege of observing and participating in the development of solar programs
across the country, I am very excited about the evolution of the Community Choice Aggregation/Community
Choice Energy initiative in California.
This ground-breaking legislative initiative is changing the century-old utility model and California is at the
forefront of this change. Of particular note is the ability of CCAs to adapt to - and take advantage of- new
technologies, rate structures and business models at a pace that reflects how these issues are evolving in the
real world.
As a developer, I welcome the opportunity to initiate a dialogue between solar(and DER) energy providers and
the"utility" (i.e. the CCA) with a greater level of transparency and collaboration, in order to facilitate the goals
of reduced energy cost to customers, more local, renewable energy, and local economic development.
I would like to offer my strong support for initiating a feasibility study for a Butte County CCA, and would be
happy to entertain any further discussion and answer any questions about why I think this would be a benefit to
the community.
Sincerely,
Lee J. V. Feliciano
