Good morning, Supervisor Lovato:
Attached is a comment letter from the Butte County Federal/State Land Use Coordinating
Committee (the Committee) in response to your request for feedback on the Draft Travel Analysis
Report. The Draft TAR was publicly reviewed by members of Butte County’s Forest Advisory
Committee (FAC), incorporating feedback from interested parties in the area of recreational travel
within the Plumas and Lassen National Forest. The Coordinating Committee concurs with the
recommendations of the FAC and appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Draft TAR. We
request that you consider the recommendations in the attached comment letter as you finalize the
TAR, and we look forward to your response to the questions we have raised regarding the analysis.
