EIR Addendum for CAP

The Butte County Department of Development Services is pleased to provide for the public's
review the Draft Butte County Climate Action Plan (CAP) and associated EIR Addendum. The
Draft CAP implements the County's recently adopted General Plan by providing measures and
actions to improve quality of life in the County. The CAP will contain programs and actions that
are designed to help the County sustain its natural resources, grow efficiently, ensure long-term
resiliency to a changing environmental and economic climate, and improve county energy use
and efficiency. The CAP supports statewide greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals
identified in State Assembly Bill (AB) 32 and State Senate Bill (SB) 375. To learn more about the

The Draft CAP will be reviewed by the Butte County Planning Commission on December 12,
2013. Comments on the Draft CAP and associated EIR Addendum will be accepted over a 30-
day period concluding on November 18, 2013. All comments and questions may be directed to:
