Eighth Biennial Recreation Report -- ORAC Comments
Dear Ms. Bose:
]n a letter dated March 30, 2011, the Department of Water Resources (DWR} submitted
ifs eighth biennial recreation report to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
(FERC) pursuant to order number 2100-054, Items J and K. The report was then
transmitted to the Oroville Recreation Advisory Committee (ORAC) in a letter dated
April 15, 2011. Both letters stated that DWR planned to file with FERC any ORAC
comments, along with DWR responses, and any updates to the report by July 1, 2011.
This letter is to inform you that the previously stated schedule for submitting comments
to FERC by July 1, 2011 will not be met because ORAC has not yet submitted
comments to DWR. DWR has been informed that ORAC's comments will be submitted
following an ORAC meeting scheduled for June 17, 2011. Once ORAC's comments
are received, DWR will review the comments and submit DWR responses, along with
ORAG's comments and any updates to the report, to FERC within 60 days.
