The CA Department of Water Resources is partnering with the Water Education Foundation to host
Building Capacity for Regional Sustainability in California:A Water Summit.
The event brings together hundreds of regional water and land use leaders and practitioners from
across the state to discuss challenges and opportunities for establishing governance, developing plans,
improving regulatory processes and securing sustainable funding,
all necessary ingredients for achieving sustainable water balance.
The main program features informative panels with case studies,followed by a Tools
Pavilion and networking reception where attendees can learn firsthand about tools
and resources available to help build capacity.A limited number of scholarships
are available for non-profits and disadvantaged communities.
