Good morning,
Just a heads up, once again Butte County has a strong winter storm headed into our area later tonight. Wind gusts are
estimated to be in the 40 mph range in the mountains, and 50-60 mph range for much of the valley areas, especially
south (see attached NWS graphic). If the winds start pushing the 50- 60 mph range, we can expect significant tree
damage and utility outages. Timing currently shows the peak winds ramping up at 1900 hours tonight, and holding at 50
+/- peak gusts until around 1000 hours on Friday.
