State's Long-Term Plans to Prepare for Future Droughts will be Addressed
SACRAMENTO — Officials representing the California Department of Water Resources, California
Department of Food and Agriculture, and the State Water Resources Control Board will conduct a
media conference call today to discuss the State's new long-term plan that builds on lessons learned
from California's five-year drought to prepare for future droughts by making water conservation a way
of life throughout the state.
