Dear Supervisors and County Administrator,
I live in Bangor, CA.
We are in a very rural area and Oroville is forty-five minutes from our central area.
Our area gets a large number of vacation vehicles which have caused roadside fires. Those fires have
escalated to danger of life and homes in our area.
Station 55 is right in Bangor, close to all our homes and livestock.
This station is brand new and there is no reason to close it due to repairs, or unusable conditions.
Please understand our area depends on this station for first responders and quick fire protection to save
our lives.
