Subject: New Crisis At Oroville Dam, Coverup Taking Place!
Oroville resident and radio talk show host Paul Preston is now reporting that a new crisis is taking place at the Oroville
Dam and that a coverup is currently taking place. He has photographic evidence that the dam is leaking/weeping and that
a situation know as'piping' is now taking place. Two core sample rigs are now in place behind the dam ostensibly to
identify piping activity. Visitor access is now being denied and flyovers are also reported to be canceled.
A bit of background on piping.
Internal erosion of soil particles from within a dam by water that seeps through the dam is one of the most common
causes of failure of levees and earth dams. 113
Internal erosion is especially dangerous because there may be no external evidence, or only subtle evidence, that it
is taking place. Usually a sand boil can be found, but the boil might be hidden under water. A dam may breach
within a few hours after evidence of internal erosion becomes obvious.
Internal erosion manifests by the migration of soil particles by suffusion or piping.
The evidence of piping and the core sampling data should be a matter of public disclosure/debate considering the
millions of lives at risk.
There are also renewed concerns about the heavy inflows to the dam and the potential failure of both
spillways. The Sacramento region is in very grave danger, please become informed and inform others!
