Subject: Records Search
As a Butte County resident placing a historic estate into conservation,there was a lot of research that was needed to
gather rich information regarding our project. Our area -eligible for both State and National Registries of Historic places
-has now been selected by the Department of Conservation.
And, ALL documents has now been signed!
Over the years, handling historic records and the ability to complete research has gotten much easier including the
availability of organized information and the setting allowing for a side-by-side study of data from a variety of sources.
Regularly requesting assistance, I found the staff very knowledgeable and always helpful.
It is an understatement to say there is great appreciation for the new Hall of Records building:
with the increasing organization of access to and
care of these valuable historic records for future generations
