evacuation warning.The attached news release was shared via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

SOME EVACUATION ORDERS REDUCED TO EVACUATION WARNINGS IN CAMP FIRE AREA
WHEN: Friday November 16, 2018 at 1:30 P.M.
WHERE: The following portions of the Cherokee evacuation zone (Zone A) have been
reduced to an evacuation warning.
-HWY 70 from HWY 149 north to Pentz Road is reduced to an evacuation
warning.
The areas north of HWY 70 at Pentz Road remain under evacuation order to include
the upper end of Cherokee Road and Flag Canyon Road. All areas west of HWY 70
remain under an evacuation order, this includes Clark Road, Wheelock Road, and
Pentz Road.
-The area of Cherokee Rd North from Table Mountain Blvd. to Red Tape Road
are reduced to an evacuation warning.
All areas north of Cherokee Road and Red Tape Road remain under evacuation
order, this includes Louise Lane and Condor Road.
-Cherokee Road and Oregon Gulch Road will be open to residents via
Cherokee Road at Table Mountain Blvd.
NOTES: Fire personnel are still active in the area. Please reduce speeds and drive
with caution. The cancellation of additional evacuation orders is being evaluated
based on a variety of factors, including potential fire behavior and life safety hazards.

SAFETY MESSAGE —The public is reminded to stay vigilant on current fire conditions. Please
continue to adhere to road closures and any evacuation warnings. A reminder to drive slowly and
yield to emergency personnel in the area. There will be smoke in the respective areas as
firefighters continue firefighting operations. If at any time you feel unsafe, please call 911.
