Here is an update from the JIC. Updates&New Information Distribution: • Flash Flood Watch o A hard-copy emergency notification was delivered to Butte Creek Canyon residents in partnership with the Town of Paradise • Butte County Recovers email update 1 o The first recovery email update was distributed to 18k email subscribers. We will continue to promote email subscription through social media and public outreach • CalFresh Nutrition Assistance for Fire Survivors o Added information to the website and shared program details on social media • Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility o Reminder to residents that the facility is not accepting fire debris and highlighted operating hours • Reminder to residents to look for their lost animals at campfirerescuedanimals.com o Shared information from Butte County Public Health on social media • Access for commercial livestock owners o Provided update that the Butte County Agriculture Department has completed the process of providing access letters to commercial livestock owners. Non-commercial animal owners were encouraged to contact NVADG for questions regarding lost animals. Upcoming Events • Butte County Wildfire Recovery Community Meeting o Pleasant Valley High School Performing Arts Center o Thursday, November 29 from 7:00 PM—9:00 PM • Press Conference Schedule: o Mondays and Wednesdays(for at least two weeks) o 6:00 p.m. o Silver Dollar Fairgrounds, Harvest Hall 2357 Fair St.Chico, CA Disaster Recovery Center Activity • There are nine County departments and divisions,along with the Town of Paradise, providing information at the Chico DRC. • Each day, information is collected at each table regarding how many people were served. o County Clerk Recorder had the most visitors and served 287 people since the previous day. o Environmental Health also served 287 people since the previous day.
