Good Evening,
This following food safety information was just shared on social media:
Upon return to homes that lost power during the#CampFire, perishable food items that have not been properly stored
(at or below 41°F)for more than four hours are not considered safe and should be thrown out. Perishable food items
include: meat, poultry, fish, soft cheese, milk, eggs, leftovers and deli items. If your home is damaged by the fire and you
find non-perishable food items, high temperatures may have caused the packaging to fail and the contents to become
contaminated. When in doubt, throw it out. Learn more about food safety:tinyurl.com/ydhldl73
Thank you,
Callie
