Hi Dennis
I wanted to thank you again for taking your time today in coming out to my home, so we could drive Oregon
Gulch rd and talk about my safety concerns.
It was informative to know that the road had not been maintenanced since April 2017. 1 knew the road was
getting worse, worse than I had ever seen it since living here. I was so encouraged and really appreciate that you
want to make some improvements to our Oregon Gulch rd.!! Such as speed limit signs, with attention curves
signs, as well as reflectors to detour anyone from going off that shape edge drop off, as the road is also narrow
there. You also mentioned putting better road base rock and compacting the road, and giving us better
maintenance by coming out at least once a year and possibly more.
We all (on Oregon Gulch rd and adjacent roads) appreciate all your efforts in helping to make this road safer
for all who drive it!!!
I wanted to also give you a reminder about Russ Fowler Deputy Chief at Cal Fire saying he can write a letter to
help you in this endeavor, to make a better access rd for their Fire engines when needed.
I have a question, since there won't be any maintenance on the road until fall, due to heat and no rain. I would
Iike to request that at least an adjustable skip loader be dragged on the road to help decrease the washboard
effect and put the rock that is currently on the side of the road, back in the middle? Could this be done before
the fall rain?
