Good morning,
I wanted to pass along some information we were presented yesterday by PG&E. PG&E has started a fairly aggressive
campaign to clear vegetation from around their power lines in the high risk fire areas. PG&E staff and their Contractors
are actively performing door to door surveys requesting permission to clear and grub all areas within a 15' radius of all
overhead power lines in the fire critical areas of Cohasset, Magalia, Paradise, and Berry Creek in eastern Oroville. In
addition to these private property requests,they have requested authority from local agencies (including Butte County
and the Town of Paradise) to clear vegetation from within the right of way near their electric facilities.
PG&E has staged a base camp along the Skyway near Tuscan Ridge to accommodate their resources. PG&E anticipates a
large volume of woody debris will be generated. This debris will be removed from the immediate area' and trucked to
local stockpiling areas to be sorted and managed for export out of the area. Two sites have been reserved in Paradise
and Oroville, but the search for a site in the Cohasset area is underway.

from homeowners that those questions be directed to him.
