PLEASE HAND THIS TO THE INDIVIDUAL SUPERVISORS,THANK YOU!
For some time we have decided as a family to move back to California, specifically to Butte county. Thus we have looked
for land to be purchased.
As you know that is not as easy as it once was. This year we spent our spring recess to look for land and had 2 pieces in
mind. One was on Oregon gulch road (2086?) near Cheroke, on the plateau above Oroville.
We had questions as to the water table because the well on the property next door is very close. While researching
this,on our return visit we found the property sold despite its insane pricetag.
IT WAS BOUGHT, ACCORDING TO OUR FRIENDS, BY PEOPLE FROM SAN FRANCISCO WHO PROMPTLY FENCED THE
PROPERTY IN WITH A 6 FOOT FENCE PLUS BARBED WIRE ON TOP. PEAKING OVER THE FENCE WE SAW 2 PLASTIC GREEN
HOUSES AND A LARGE CAMPER PLUS WATER TANK. OBVIOUSLY A MIRIJUANA GROW OPERATION!, not an individual 8
plant growth!!!!!!! HOW COME??????HOW DID THEY PASS ALL INSPECTIONS? THEIR GENERATOR MUST SURELY
ANNOY FOLKS AROUND THERE, IT WOULD US.
One reason we are looking in Butte county is because it does not allow factory farming of this substance. While I am not
opposed to Mirivana per se, I do not relish buying a property and then having such outfit next to us.
How come these folks have not been cited? Seems to me they can do their thing and skip when they are done-or do it
again
Furthermore, when people are able to make money on overpriced property,
that leaves the rest of us out in the cold or Idaho- yuk
