Subject: Butte creek canyon overlay
To whom it May Concern,
I have lived most of my 40 plus years in Butte Creek canyon, My parents raised me up off of Centerville road
and then as an adult I have purchased my home on Centerville and I am raising my children here. I have seen
changes in the years and I have seen with the drought how much the Creek can change and how dependent the
animals are on the resources of Butte Creek Canyon. The Canyon and it Ridges are a haven for endangered
salmon, threatened Tehama migratory deer herd, black bear, bald eagles and so much more. Not to mention the
severe rock on the ridges how can cluster development be allowed where will the septic systems be drilled into
rock? It's just not appropriate for the terrain or for the people of Butte Creek Canyon who committed to living
here to be away from cluster development and to be in nature. Please consider our plea to keep Butte Creek
canyon preserved for our future youths.
