Two new articles just published by The Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology (May 8, 2018).
The first journal article describes a statewide study in which 400 Colorado dispensaries were called by
women who identified themselves as 8 weeks pregnant and experiencing morning sickness.
Nearly 70% of these dispensaries recommended marijuana to treat nausea in the,first trimester.
Very few dispensaries encouraged the caller to discuss the situation with a doctor (unless prompted
to do so).
This article highlights the insanity of allowing the pot industry to illegally practice medicine, often
through budtenders with zero medical training.
The second journal article discusses the transfer of THC through, breast milk.
