Subject: Support for Butte Creek Canyon Overlay Zone
Dear Supervisor Lambert,
I am writing in support of the Butte Creek Canyon Overlay Zone as developed over these last few years. I
support the Overlay and its various components because it addresses several concerns for this portion of our
county:
-limited water supply (wells running dry),
-fire danger in canyon areas, with limited resources to protect the homes in areas such as the Butte Creek
Canyon,
-roads in this area are too narrow to support further development,
-and very important to me, watershed protection for wildlife.
I am unable to attend the Supervisors' Meeting on April 24th, but if I could I would show up to support the
Butte Creek Canyon Overlay Zone.
