The e-Aprende program has been serving the underserved population of the Housing Authority in Gridley
since December 2016. Residents are learning to renew their immigration papers and DACAs, as well as apply
for US citizenship. they are learning to use the computer as a tool for job applications and promotion of
individual talents. Programming is offered 4 days a week because of the needs and interests of the
participants. This is a good program. Much has been invested in the way of the van, the computers, the time
and energy Katy has provided to gain the trust of the farm labor families. In this time of political disregard for
minorities I think it is very important that e-Aprende continue to serve this target population. Relationships,
trust, confidence are growing. This community support is one of the few offered this remote population.
