Hello Supervisors,
This is Kevin Currey. My wife Hannelore Currey and I live in Paradise. We are very much opposed to
the State's sanctuary policy, and we respectfully request that you all seriously consider joining the
movement of many Southern California cities and counties to join the lawsuits (Federal and State) to
sue the Governor and the State, as well as moving to overturn Senate Bill (SB) 54.
This law is very dangerous and we firmly believe that illegal immigrants are just that-illegal, and have
no citizen rights! These illegal immigrants seem to be a priority for the current governor and we feel
that our rights as citizens are being ignored by the politicians in Sacramento. By joining the
movement to sue and overturn this bad legislation, the tax paying citizens will be safer, and our
already over-taxed entitlement system will begin a much overdue recovery, allowing funding for
citizen needs, instead of illegal immigrant needs.
