Chair Teeter and Members of the Board, I believe all of you may have received this complaint email
below from Ms. Stephanie Ingraham. I spoke with Ms. Ingraham today and she will be bringing her
children in to the Oroville branch tomorrow. There was a misunderstanding when her five-year-old
child set off the exit alarm accidently but everything is resolved now. I asked her to contact me again
directly if there are any other problems.

To whom it may concern i am contacting you in regards of a stuff member at our local libarey and the assistant
director. The librarian that works at the counter Hispanic older lady is very rude and one time yelled at my 11 yr
daughter. When ever my 5 yr old ask her for help on a book or information what books they have she rolls her
eyes at my child and sends her away. My I I yr has had the same experience with her. I take all my children
there every Wednesday fir the hero reading club which they enjoy this very much. Now my children dont have
any interests in going to the orovilw branch Library. Being a single mom this was affortable for me to take my
children to so that they may enjoy reading. I felt this was a way for me to teach them the importance of reading
and know reading and the library is fun. I had ask to speak to the person in charged it fill out a form ti state my
concerns. I was told to talk to tje assistant director Sarah where she told me " i dont have time for rhis maybe
you can call me another time. " I felt as i my opinion had no value or that my children being treated badly had
know value. I feet very disrespected and hope that something will be done. I will continue on emailing you
until] something is done. Thank you for your time a co concerned parent and citizen of butte county Oroville.
