Subject- New Butte County Garbage Agreement
Dear Butte County Board of Supervisors,
I was very happy to hear that only one garbage company would be down my street every week. I j ust found out.
that Waste Management will only be collecting my recycling garbage every other week. My price has risen by
only $4.00 and I am receiving less service. Now I wish I had my old service back.
In the past we did not pay for a green yard waste container because all of our yard waste is returned to our soil.
Now I am being charged for a yard waste container that will not be used. That I really need is a weekly pick up
of recycling waste. My black "regular garbage" container is rarely more than 1/4. filled. But my recycling is
always filled to the top. Unfortunately it looks like my recycling garbage will end up in my black container
since there is no way an every other week pick up will work for us. If I request another recycling container, I
end up paying a lot more!
Please reconsider this new agreement.
