Subject:Thermalito County Supervisor
As the sole Butte County Supervisor that represents the community of Thermalito, I am seeking your
assistance on a matter that deals with the construction of the Base Camp Village Transition Housing
homeless shelter. This scares the pants off all that I have talked to. My phone is swamped and
we have over a hundred concerned citizens who are willing to walk the streets with, petitions, Also the
same are willing to be at the the Public meeting that will be open for review of this project.
You don't need me to express the concerns of the Thermalito Citizens. Just imagine this facility being
built near your home, enough said your stomach should be tied up in knots.
When can we meet to lay out a plan of attack that would be effective in stopping this project and
moving it to a more suitable (location that would be a real benefit for the homeless.
know that you have gone through this before on other issues and I know that you would be eager to
help on this issue.
