Dear Mark, My husband and I live at the very end of the private drive on Little Ave. (179 Little Ave.) We are both unable to attend the hearing on Tuesday the 28th because he is out of the state for our business and I work in Sacrament on Tuesday mornings. 1 just wanted you and the board of supervisors to know that we are also effect by the illegal material that James used for his fence. My husband and I go up and down the private drive sometimes many times a day and depending on the time of day the glare is so strong and blinding coming or going. I have had several people mention that they have been blinded by the glare when approaching and making the turn out on the corner of Vermont and Little Ave. In my opinion it is very dangerous, it makes you take your eyes and attention off the road and surroundings when it hits your eyes while driving. I have nothing against James, he just made a very poor decision in the material he used for his fence. And on top of that as you all know it is illegal material and because of our experience with the blinding glare I totally understand why it is an illegal fencing material. I don't know what he put on the fence to the west of his yard to stop the glare but it looks like it has been through a fire. James knew right away that that fencing material had a major glare to it but he did not seem to even care. I feel really bad that this is all happening but we should not have to live with this blinding fence. One other thing that I do not understand is why we are having to have another hearing when the bottom line is that this fencing material is illegal in Butte County as per the fencing code for Butte County. Just wondering Thank you Michele & Craig Dewsnup Virus-free www avast com 1
