I am so sorry your County, as so many others, are experiencing the effects of wildfires, again! There are more than 15 Northern California fires, covering collectively more than 100,000 acres. Our teams are closely monitoring AT&T assets and facilities in Northern California and triaging impacted areas as they are realized. To date, all fires are active with developing conditions. We are working as quickly and as safely as possible to assess damage and restore service. Charging facilities are available at the larger evacuation sites and we are working to deploy additional charging equipment. AT&T Wireline: • We are still assessing wireline impacts from the fires as quickly as conditions allow. All central offices are currently operational in the fire impact area, however 5 (down from 10) are operating on backup generator power.Access to the area continues to be limited. AT&T Wireless: • We continue to assess damage to our network as we are able given the safety conditions in the area. We made significant progress since yesterday restoring approximately 80%of sites affected by fire damage, including much of the North Coast, Napa and Sonoma County areas. • At this time our wireless network in the fire impact areas is operating at more than 99%of normal capacity. • Late yesterday we announced that we're automatically issuing credits and waiving additional charges from Oct. 9 through Oct. 14 to provide unlimited data, voice and text for wireless customers and unlimited voice and text to prepaid customers in impacted areas of California. We are also extending payment dates for impacted prepaid customers with voice and text service through Oct. 14. • We have deployed network equipment for service and support of response efforts. These resources link to our network via satellite and don't rely on commercial power availability. We have deployed in these locations: • SatCOLT: Napa at the Town &Country Fairgrounds • SatCOLT: Santa Rosa EOC(Stoney Point Rd), Santa Rosa • SatCOLT: Elsie Allen High School (Red Cross) • Electronic Communication Vehicle: Napa Valley College (Red Cross) 1 Preston Dickinson Independent Contractor AT&T External Affairs (530)514-5600 2
