The original overreach of the overlay zone included more than 25,0010 acres. it is now less than 5,000 acres. Many property owners have been given special dispensation to have their properties excluded. Knife River will asking for the same consideration that has been extended to other property owners. The original overlay equaled approx. 23,581 acres. The final overlay as currently recommended is 4,911 acres. The majority of this reduction came from Planning Commission direction to remove the AG- 160, TM, and TPZ zones from the overlay, as well as larger tracts of lands associated with ranching. This direction placed focus on residential zones and uses, where new growth is expected. Another reduction in the Overlay Zone's size took place, which called for the removal of the Nimshew and Humbug Roads area, as well as portions of parcels not located in the Butte Creek Watershed, I hope this information is helpful. Can you tell me approximately the number of acres that were included in the original version of the BCC overlay zone, and the number of acres included in the current version of the proposed BCC overlay net of all the parcel carve outs? 1 don't need any great level of precision. To the nearest 100 acres will suffice. Thank you. Ren6 Vercruyssen On Feb 21, 2018, at 2:02 PM, Breedon, Dan<DBreedon @ buttecounty.net>wrote: ** WARNING: EX'1'ERrNAL SENDER.
