Subject: The Leen Development Setback and Other Concerns:
Dear Madam and Sirs,
I would like to once again remind you of the concerns that I,as a Stanley Avenue resident, have regarding the proposed Leen Development.
First, the recommendation for a 300 ft.ag.setback should not be ignored and I have one new question regarding the matter. A couple of our
supervisors initially proposed the 300 ft.agricultural setback policy, years ago. If our representatives are now going to forego their own
recommendations for a 300 ft.setback, without regard to their own past vote, then why should any of us,their constituents, trust their
decision making, in the future? It is essential for a voting population to hold their representatives in the highest regard. We count on them
having Integrity. Without it,we are left without trust and reliance.
We have plenty to worry about on this street, with traffic passage being tight and the narrow navigation of the roadway, detrimental to safety.
Often drivers wiggle off road and in doing so,throw up pavement debris, which can strike our parked car windows, and we,the pedestrians.
They also travel with speed well over the 25 MPH.These are some of our concerns, with children, elderly and pets, in mind.
We hope that you are representing the quality in leadership that we feel we deserve. Please respect the needs of the Stanley Avenue
neighborhood and fasten down that 300 ft,agricultural setback for the Leen Development. It will make a huge difference in the lives of Chico
Farmers and residents.
Thank you for supporting the residents of Stanley Avenue.
Respectfully,
Riki Berlin
