Dear Steve Lambert:
1was informed that there ismnopening onthe Butte County Fair board. | would like hobeconsidered a candidate tofill
that position.
| was a 4-H member for 10 years in my youth. I have children currently enrolled in the program. K8ychildren have also
participated in other fairs such as the California State Fair, Coluea County Fair, and the Tehama District Fair, in not only
livestock but mdU exhibits as well. k have held and completed my term as a Butte County 4-H council member. Currently, |
am a 4-H leader and hold several committee chair positions at the county level. |maddition, | have been amember nfthe
Butte County Fair Junior Livestock Auction Advisory Committee for the past 3 years and my term there is up
this December. If possible U would like the open position on the fair board. | have seen the fair from many angles: a
apectahor, a parent ufexhibitors, a 4-H leader, a 4-H council member and committee ohoir, and as a JLA member. | feel
like my time and knowledge would be bettermuited on this board. | know California fairs are etrug8fing and ] would like to
be o part oƒkeeping our little fair afloat. K am not only an advocate for livestock but | believe everyone should work for the
fair as a who|e, and not just for their one passion. Speobotora, still exhibitmna, the carnival, the attractions, vendors,
livestock, 4-Hand FFA members and families all have arole inthe fair and all need tohave equal representation. |f
allowed to take a seat on the board K will strive to make viab[e decisions for the good of the fair as am/hm|e.
