Th~a Osborn Court Services Specialist Superior Court ofCalifornia, County mfButte F Superior Court of California F I County of Butte I BCSC 2018-AO-09 E DEC 14 2017 E 1 ❑ K tJerly F ner.Clerk ❑ ByDeputy 2 3 SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA 4 COUNTY OF BUTTE COUNTY 5 6 } ANNUAL INSPECTION OF JUVENILE } 7 DETENTION FACILITIES } 8 9 Pursuant to the provisions of Section 209 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, 10 the undersigned has conducted an annual inspection of the Butte County facilities used 11 for the confinement of juveniles as follows: 12 Butte County Juvenile Hall: 13 The inspection was made on Tuesday, December 12, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. Present 14 were Judge Barbara L. Roberts, Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Court; Kelly Mortensen, 15 Executive Program Analyst; Wayne Barley, Chief Deputy Probation Officer; and Nino 16 Pinocchio, Manager of Juvenile Hall. 17 1. The Juvenile Hall is found to be a suitable facility for the detention of minors. 18 2. The management of the Juvenile Hall is such that the operation is cost effective. 19 The goals and objectives of the institution are met in an efficient manner. Minors 20 detained at the facility, on a short term as well as long term basis, are involved in 21 programs and are afforded quality care. 22 3. There are no physical deficiencies at the facility and general maintenance is of 23 high quality. 24 25 26 Page 1 of 2 I ORDER: 2 The Clerk of this Court is directed to file this Annual Inspection Report; and the 3 Clerk is requested to send a copy of this Order to the following: 4 Butte County Board of Supervisors 5 Mr. Paul Hahn, Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk of the Board 6 Butte County Juvenile Justice Commission Darin Haerle, Chairperson 7 Butte County Probation Department 8 Steven.
