Subject:June 22 Wildland Fire/Evacuation Traffic and EDC Drill
Board Members,
On June 22, we will be having a Wildlland Fire/Evacuation/EOC drill: in the Paradise area. II would like to invite
each of you to attend the drill to see how your fire department mitigates and operates during large wildland
fires. Chief Hawks has been planning the scenario for several months now and it will be a great drill and a
perfect opportunity for you to see what it is we do during large wildland fires.
Drill Time & Logistics
June 22nd, reporting time 0815 in time for briefing at 0830 at the Paradise Adventist parking lot 5720
Academy Dr.just north of Pearson in Paradise. Lunch will be provided. Drilll start at 0900 and finish by noon
with an hour for pick up and lunch, after action at 1300 hrs., and then release resources.
