Subject: Today's Board Meeting
Dear Butte County Supervisors and Paul Hahn,
I urge you to adopt a replacement for Butte County's marijuana ordinance just like Tehama
County's marijuana ordinance. Important aspects of Tehama County's ordinance 1980 are 1000
feet from bus stops, 12 plants only, 100' set back from property boundaries, and most offensive
to me is the malodorous smells in my home.
I am not against an individual's medicinal marijuana. I am opposed to lying in my bed and
smelling it through my open window. I live in the foothills and am now surrounded by growers
over the last year. My property value is affected negatively.
I know the growers don't work. They drive new fancy cars. Young local men are following this
example. I know there is selling involved. It is horrible! Something needs to change.
I bought my property in 1975 and the changes over the last couple of years is terrible.
I fear of retaliation if my name is used on any public record.
Sincerely,
Deborah J. Ingvoldsen
