Subject: Library's expanded hours
Chair Connelly and Board members, I will be bringing a resolution forward on October 8th to expand the library's hours
because of the board's generous funding for FY 13-14. Those hours will begin on Saturday, November 2rd, 2013. The
Biggs Branch Library will begin opening Saturdays on the 2"d, from 10am to 4pm. On the following day, Sunday,
November 3rd, the branch libraries in Chico, Gridley, Oroville and Paradise will begin opening from 1pm to 5pm. After
your approval of this expansion, there will be a media campaign launched.
