On January 12, 2012, Commission staffissued a letter order Ending that California
Department of Water Resources (California DWR} was out of compliance with its license
requirements for the Oroville Project No. 2100, for failure to complete the replacement of
all polystyrene docks a# the Lime Saddle Marina. On February 13, 2012, California
DWR filed a request for rehearing of the letter order and requested approval of an
alternate schedule for the replacement of the polystyrene docks. On February 29, 2012,
Commission staff granted California DWR's request for an alternate schedule for the
replacement of the docks and retracted the license violation determination.
On March 13, 2012, California DWR f led a notice of withdrawal of its request for
rehearing of Commission staff's January 12, 2012 letter order. No motion in opposition
to the notice of withdrawal has been filed, and the Commission has taken no action to
disallow the withdrawal.
Accordingly, pursuant to Rule 216 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and
Procedure, the withdrawal became effective on March 28, 2012 1
