FERC Pro'ect No. 2100— Eleventh Biennial Recreation Repo
Dear Ms. Bose:
Pursuant to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Order No. 21001-054
(Items J and ) dated September 22, 1994, the California Department of Water
Resources (DWR) must file a biennial report by April 1 with FERC and the Oroville
Recreation Advisory Committee (ORAL). Due to the involvement of key DWR staff in
the ongoing Oroville Spillway Emergency Incident, DWR requested an extension of time
to file the Eleventh Biennial Recreation Report, On April 5, 2017, FERC issued an order
granting the extension of time to December 31, 2017.
Enclosed is the final version of the Eleventh Biennial Recreation Report (Report).
Included in the Report are the following:
Summary of Attendance Technical Information Record for the period of January
2015 to December 2016;.
» Transcripts of the four ORAC meetings conducted during the period;
A summary of additions or improvements to recreation facilities proposed by
ORAL, including DWR's responses to those proposals; and
Comments received from CRAC on the Draft Eleventh Biennial Recreation
Report, including DWR's responses to those comments.
