On May 18,2009,Commission staffheld an agency meeting to discuss both the basis
for the U.S.Forest Service's modified 4(e)conditions for the DeSabla-Centerville
Hydroelectric Project and the remaining inconsistencies of the a`genniec'tl)M Enclosure: Schedule A 0�
recommendations. In addition,responding to the California Fish and Game's April 27,2009 "11td
letter,Commission staff clarified how it analyzes the economics of hydroelectric projects, cc: MaryLisa Lynch OSS
and in particular,how we calculated the annual cost of a fish screen at Hendricks Dam in the California Department of Fish and Game �p^® Ups

With respect to project economics,we explained that Commission staff prepares an

your April 27,2009 letter. Starting with your estimated annual cost of$340,200,these
added costs increase the annual cost by$249,600,giving a total annual cost of S589,800,
which we show on page 332 of the draft EA.
