A REINSPECTION OF THE ABOVE FACILITY REVEALED THE FOLLOWING FIRE AND LIFE
SAFETY DEFICIENCIES REMAIN UNCORRECTED.
1 _ (Title 19, CCR, 904 (1) & NFPA 25) Provide five (5} year service and testing for the automatic
fire sprinkler system and fire pump. The last five (5) year test was conducted in April ofi 2005.
2. (Title 19, CCR, 904.1 (b} Records of afl inspections shall be retained on the premises by the
building owner or system owner for a period of five (5} years after the next required inspection.
3. (Title 19, CCR, 901, Table 5.1 } Provide regular inspections and testing in accordance with Table
5.1 and maintain the records for the automatic fire sprinkler system and fire pump. The last test
was conducted on 10121-23!08. See attached Table 5.1.
4. The Office of the State Fire Marshal (SFM) has established a new Limited License Category
(Type L} for the Automatic Extinguishing Program. This Type L License allows the building
owner or lessee who has trained and experienced employees #o conduct inspections, annual
testing, and maintenance of wet pipe sprinkler systems, standpipe systems or private fire
service mains in structures or properties they own or lease. It should be noted that this license
does not include fve-year certification.
In-house personnel (Maintenance} who test, inspect, and maintain must have a Type L
License to perform weekly ire pump tests. NOTE: Application for this license was given to
maintenance personnel.
