Lassen NF OFiV Grants Proposals Available for Review and Comment
Susanville, CA. Each year, the Lassen National Forest has an opportunity to submit grant
applications to the California State Off Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division (OHMVR) for
their consideration for funding in support of the Forest's ort-going Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV)
program. The Division is currently soliciting proposals for the 2009 grant cycle and the Lassen
National Forest is considering three projects for submission. One project would assist the forest
with ground operations and maintenance, the second application would enable the forest to plan
for future OHV area management, and the third would assist with OHV area patrols and law
enforcement.
Preliminary applications for the 2009 projects will be made available for review and comment
on March 3, 2009, on the OHMVR Division's website, http:/Iohv.pa*s,oa.gov/. A link to that
