Subject: Automatic Raises For Assistant Dept Heads
Dear Honorable Butte County Board of Supervisors.
I am writing you concerning the automatic raises for Assistant Department Heads. In a
time where there are County employees on layoff, there has been no colas for over three
and one half years and we the workers have had to absorb two health insurance
increases. This action of automatic raises for Assistant Department Heads would be
deplorable. I urge you to deny this action until all workers can share in raises and our
PERS retirement
