Proposition 84 Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization
Program of 2008 (Statewide Park Program)
Dear local officials and interested parties,
California State Parks' Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) is pleased to
announce a new type of technical assistance. OGALS is offering six meetings where
applicants can ask questions about their draft application packet documents.
• The meetings will be informal; there will be no group presentation by OGALS.
Applicants will meet one-on-one with a program expert.
• Please bring copies of draft application packet documents related to your
questions. However, please note that Project Selection Criteria responses will
not be reviewed during the meeting. To maintain the integrity of the competitive
process, all statewide Project Selection Criteria responses will be reviewed and
ranked after the March 1, 2010 application deadline.
• There is no need to attend this meeting if your questions can be
answered by phone or email, or if your questions have already been
answered through our extensive technical assistance to date.
• The meeting locations and dates are enclosed. RSVP's are not requested, and
attendance is free.
We encourage you to check our website at www.parks.ca.gov/grants for further
information and updates about the Statewide Park Program, Nature Education
Facilities Program, or annual grant programs.
