The majority, however, do live in or on small Iot, high density subdivisions. Unfortunately, many of them were confused by or misled in the recent referendum on Measure A where a "NO" vote did not mean NO Marijuana, but NO REGULATION. Those citizens urge the Board of Supervisors to allow no marijuana cultivation an small parcel, high density residentially zoned lots regardless of size. Short of that, require all growth be done indoors to minimize the criminal activity, degradation of the natural environment, and contain the offensive odor. These hazards were specifically noted by the Sheriff and DA Ramsey in the last round of hearings and debates, but apparently only the vociferous proponents for marijuana growth were heard. If you've any doubt about the effects, check the police/sheriff reports relating to "home grown, medical marijuana" for calls about stink, midnight traffic, attack dogs, invasion and shooting incidents, etc., where, without regulations, such growing in residential neighborhoods on small parcel lots is now unregulated. Please, we have rights to peaceful enjoyment of our homes; help protect us. If YOU, our local government, can't who will? Virtually all of the voting residents of Kelly Ridge Estates campaigned for this type of protection in this Iast round. We thank you for your past attempt. We again implore your help!
