Dear Supervisors:This year's event is from 8-10 AM on Sunday 9/9/18 at Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant in Chico. The
Oroville and Chico Optimist Clubs organize this, "Buy a FirefightER Breakfast on 9/11" event every year to remember
9/11 in a positive way, honoring our firefighters and emergency responders. We would love to have Butte County
Supervisors represented on the speakers program as our elected representatives speak for their community to
remember 9/11 and honor our local Firefighters. It's a great event for families,work or business groups
and individuals. There's the excitement of fire trucks(some always on display)and the opportunity to interact with and
thank our firefighters on a personal level. Tickets are$16.00 and buy breakfast for one guest and one firefighter. The
story of the event with pictures is attached. Even if you are not interested in speaking come and enjoy the fun! If you
would like to speak, please respond to this email with the time you will be available so, I can get you in the Speakers

Table for Six,the sponsoring group can fly
their banner during the event and their
leader will be put on the event schedule to
introduce the group, remember 9/11 and
express their appreciation for our
Firefighters/ Emergency Responders.
